The Last Airbender

I thought it just insulted the series.
Aang looked too young and sort of talked weird.
Katara was too white.
Sokka was pretty good, but still too white.
Zuko's scar was barely visible, and he looked too different from the series.
Iroh looked really different, but he was still pretty cool.
Zhao looked weird and had no facial hair.
Ozai had no facial hair and he looked oddly like an oompa-loompa.
Yue was okay, I guess.
The special effects were cheesy.
The story focused on the wrong parts.

Shall I continue?

250 Words Banner/Picture Thing? Where'd'ja go?

Uh... heheh... I'm sorry that the 250 words picture is only coming up as a link.  Sorry, heh, technical difficulties.  I'll try to get it fixed.

Part of Today's 250 Words.

Don't worry, this isn't all of today's writing.  According to my Journler wordcount, it's 125, exactly half of my goal for today.

I was trying to figure out what to write, and suddenly, I had this crazy idea.

I stared at my computer.  The writing program was open.  I had some free time.

Problem is, I didn’t have a single idea about what to write.
 
"Well, maybe--"

No.  No.  Just... no.

“Ooh!  Ooh!  What about--"

Ahaha... no.

“Well... maybe...”

Um... that idea doesn’t even make sense.

“Well... maybe something to drink would help.”

Now there’s a good idea.

I walked to the kitchen, smiling to myself.  Pouring my orange juice, I remembered that I still couldn’t think of anything to write.  I sighed loudly.

I took my juice back to my room.  At least I had something to drink.

I sighed again.  Still nothing.

I was staring at the ceiling, when suddenly, an idea hit me.

“I could write about my writer’s block!”

250 Words a Day Challenge

Basically, I'm just going to write a short story at least 250 words per day.  Well, technically, if it's 250 words, the technical term is "Flash fiction", I think.  Oh well. :P

I could do 500 or 1000 (also on the site I got this from), but I figure that if I decide to do more, well, I can, but I can also only do 250.

Anyway, I'm going to completely change this blog up.  It'll be a whole lot different.

Seriously.  Like, really, really different.

And hopefully better.  Hopefully.

I made a friendship bracelet.

I've always wanted to learn how to make these, I've just never really tried.  I finally made one today.  This is basically the simplest type you can make, I'm currently making one that's much... trickier.

I plan on making them for lots of my friends.  But I want it to be a surprise.

(Oh, wait.  Some of my friends read this blog, don't they/you?  Hi, y'all. :P)

Apology

I'm sorry I haven't done a Giveaway Monday for the past couple of weeks.  I've been pretty busy.  Don't worry-- I'll get right back to my normal, random, bloggy self next week. :)

My Invention

Here is my half-finished invention.  The ribbon-coke-top-bracelet.  When I took the picture, I had not yet sewn the snap on, or finished sewing the ribbon.

I've only made two so far.  This one, and a blue one.  I plan on making a lot more-- I just bought a ton of ribbon for it.  :P
